The bolt on lift bar set up from UMI is designed for easy installation without the need for drilling, welding, or cutting. The rear lift bars replace the factory rear control arms to improve traction and reduce wheel hop. Made of boxed mild steel tubing and featuring greaseable polyurethane bushings, the lift bars work with axle torque to improve launches and 60-foot times. The mounting brackets have three settings for lowering the lift bar to correct lost geometry and instant center on a lowered vehicle. The kit includes mounting hardware and installation instructions.
For added performance, consider adding UMI adjustable upper control arms to maximize rear suspension set-up.
Installation of P/N 4022 is a bolt-in set-up, but welding is recommended for vehicles running drag radials or slicks. Bolting is recommended for street applications only.
