UMI’s P/N 2406 allows the installation of LS power into your 1978-1988 GM G-Body and the 1974-1981 2nd generation Camaro/Firebird. UMI’s LSX adapter plates bolt directly to the frame and allow the installation of any LSX engine. P/N 2406 fits factory LS engine mounts and also works with UMI P/N 2328 and 2329. UMI’s LS mounts place the LS engine in the factory location with the ability to move the engine rear-ward up to 1”. LS mounts are CNC laser cut from 3/16” thick steel with MIG welded 3/16” thick stand offs, high grade mounting hardware included.
Fitment Note: UMI’s LSx mounts were built around the LS1 oil pan and will also work with the Holley 302 pan. When using the LS1 oil pan or Holley 302 pan crossmember cutting was not needed. Other oil pans may require crossmember trimming for clearance. Factory A/C compressor will clear when frame is notched.
