BOLT IN DRAG RACE ONLY STEERING COLUMN ONLY (no quick release ) FOR EARLY S-10 (typically BEGINNING IN 1988 1/2 THRU 93) WITH 4 BOLT MOUNTING PLATE THAT MOUNTS TO FLOORBOARD. LOWER BOLT HOLES ARE 2.00”CENTER TO CENTER. CHECK TO BE SURE THIS IS CORRECT FOR YOUR TRUCK..THERE WAS SOME OVERLAP ON YEARS. 1.5”ALUMINUM HOUSING WITH 36'' long 3/4” DOM steel SHAFT. WEIGHS less than 3 lbs !
UPPER AND LOWER ROLLER BEARINGS WITH LOCK COLLARS
.. MUST REUSE PART OF OEM LOWER STEERING SHAFT WHICH CAN BE BOLTED OR WELDED ON or use aftermarket joint . WE OFFER A STEERING SHAFT ASSEMBLY TO MATE TO A MANUAL STEERING RACK AND PINION AS WELL.
MAKES GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE TRUCK MUCH EASIER. ALSO KEEPS THOSE "PHONE CORD" SWITCHES FROM GETTING CAUGHT AND TORN ON THE STOCK COLUMN. There are variances in some year models so we may need to verify how your column bolts up to be sure you get the correct column.
